I am considering getting a 625 DVR to feed 2 TV's and a question popped into my head tonight. I want to put the receiver in the family room and hook it to the TV there and in the bed room. The bedroom is on the second floor and probably 25-50 away by cable. Does that mean that it would need to be a coax cable? I really wanted to use the RCA or S video on both TV's. Can they be ran that far?

RCA can be ran up to 25 feet max before you run into problems.... but with you sending this up stairs you're almost 90% sure of having to run coax. Sorry.

Put in 2 rfeceivers if you want good A/V connections. It's only $5/Mo. for the better quality, you can use the 625 in single mode.

I agree with Boba... there's no reason to even begin to run rca's to multiple levels. a pair of 510s would work great for what you want to do.
