recently my 625 has developed a recording problem. It has been working fine for many months, now it doesn't record a weekly program. The program shows up in the schedule, it shows on the guide as recording, but it does not record. The recording light on the unit does not come on. Anyone else having this problem?

Did you try a Warm reboot or a Cold Reboot?

A warm Reboot is when you hold the power button in on the unit for a few secs. and the unit will reboot.

A cold Reboot is when you unplug the unit for about 5 to 10 mins and then plug it back in.

Most of the time this will fix any problem you might be having...

I tried the warm reboot. I will try the cold reboot tonight

My next question would be how much free space do you have on the DVR??

I had a similar problem, it was due to the station changing the program time slot. I redid the timer and all was fine.

seems like the problem has been corrected. I did a hard reboot + I deleted the timer & created a new one. So, I don't really know which resolved the problem.
