I'm dumping my 501, 508 and 510. The older 2 need a reboot daily and it sucks not being able to share recordings in the house.


Does the 625 do NBR?

Are they buggy too?

Also, I am looking at the 625 to consolidate all my recording to 1 box and playback in multiple rooms. It's just the wife and I, so we only need to have 2 different shows available at once. However, we have 4 TVs to hook up (bedroom, den, gym and livingroom). I'd like to have the den on it's own and the other 3 rooms together. Is it feasible to put 3 TVs on one output and obtain 2 additional remotes?

Ater the last software update, the 30 second advance causes a lot of problems.

Unfortunately, rebooting does not solve the software problem.

But, my 522 is a LOT more reliable than those horrible 510s. And, it is so nice to be able to record two shows at once.

The receivers are dependant on the software, next version could ruin a good receiver. Never count on a hard drive to store your programs. With everything on one hard drive all it takes is one dump and all your programming is gone. Right now you have 3 hard drives all three taking a dump at once would be very hard.
