in your case locals will move to 103, and you will need to get HD DVRs to replace your tivos. it bites, but there is no other optionmgmrick said:So what happens when you get hd locals. Are the sd locals that are on 72.5 going to stay there? I have 5 zippered tivo's and use mrv all the time
Thanks

You may have a little longer wait than expected. My sources told me D* should have got Syracuse up yesterday. When that didn't happen I sent D* an email. Their response was something to the effect that we were hoping things would be in place for you to get HD locals. Unfortunately things are not ready. We hope to have this fixed sooner than later. They did not give a timetable. I have also been told that bandwidth is an issue. This was news to me, and bad news at that. For example from what I have heard they won't be carrying any additional digital channels from the start. For example no 3-2, 3-3, and no 24-2,-3, & 4. They are just carrying the -1's. According to them, because of bandwidth.mgmrick said:So what happens when you get hd locals. Are the sd locals that are on 72.5 going to stay there? I have 5 zippered tivo's and use mrv all the time

Not with mpeg4 HD.mgmrick said:"Coming soon"
Had it for 3 years on dtivos
Whats a "zippered" Tivo?mgmrick said:I have 5 zippered tivo's and use mrv all the time
I am looking for this answer as well. Is it as simple as taking it down and leaving everything alone, or do I have to run setup?brucegrr said:Quick Question about 72.5
After our HD locals come on (Toledo) is it OK to disconnect the 72.5 satellite and remove it? I just want to make sure nothing else is coming from that satellite.
Thanks
They are still on 72.5. A cold shutoff would leave plenty of people in the dark for SD locals.makaiguy said:My SD DTivo in the bedroom still brings in the SD locals, so either they've moved the SD locals to one of the other satellites and kept them in MPEG2, or they did not yet shut them down on 72.5.
