722k Video & Audio Skip twice an hour

I have seen the same issues. At first I thought it was only on Discovery, then I noticed it creeping onto other channels, usually within 30 seconds of show end.

Mine does it randomly and I haven't been able to associate it with any other occurrence. Like yours, mine captures the event on a recording and it doesn't seem to matter what channel its looking at.

I have noticed this on the half hour of nearly every show, whether it is OTA or SAT. Although I do see it more regularly with SAT channels. Seems to have began within the last two software updates and does not matter if you are recording or not.

But like previously stated, it is usually within 30 seconds of when guide date is about to change on the half hour.

I haven't tried to pin it to any event. Since I seldom watch real-time TV, the true intervals of the breakups can get confusing.

It's possible that the EPG updates might cause this issue when you're viewing an otherwise clean, recorded event. Last night I was watching a one-hour recording on Saturn's moon Titan. The hits came every ten minutes or so. I really can't tell (without a replay) which hit was recorded and which one was real-time.

I suppose it's academic ... the problem exists regardless of how one views it.
