here's a good one. right now both my hr20-100s units are recording on both tuners. both units reporting 771 error on tuner 2. all 4 recordings are perfect and there is no issue.
all 4 recordings are hd, all my 103c readings are 94 and higher.
going to reboot and see if that fixes it.
this gets old.

I've had the same problem with my HR21 and usually just checking sat signals or changing channels makes it go away.

I was told that DirecTV is aware of this issue.

I had to reset, I did try checking signals to fix it but that did not help. reboot did make it go away for the most part. still pops up occasionally after I try to view channel 88. that channel is only 1 I have issues with, after looking at it this issue starts up again and I have to reboot. issue seems to be tied to that channel on my end.
channel 88 has been flaky on me for a bit, and it is only channel I have issues with.

This has been happening to me sporadically since May with update 022D. I recently got the 254 update and I had one 771 since then. This has been unbelievably annoying.
