Can a cable run straight from the SMW/8 output #2 to a HR 22 with out going through a 4 way splitter and maintain the DECA system for internet and MRV. The power for the SMW/8 and signal for 2 other HR2's out of a 4 way. that would save about 40 feet of cable run for me.

It will work, since the SWM #2 is merely the other output of the internal 2-way splitter.

Would that work ok if the OP was using a non-green label SWM-8 module? Would the DECA signal going through the SWM-8 cause any problems?

Thanks for the info on that, every thing is green right down to the transformer for the broadband adapter. Thanks again
