The DIRECTV advertising for NFL Sunday Ticket / Superfan now lists:
  • The NFL 8 Game Mix will be in HD this year
  • The "Short Cuts" (full game in 30 minutes) will also be in HD this year. Remember, "Short Cuts" are available Monday and Tuesday following the Sunday games.
Things are looking up!

Wow,

Now I am kinda happy I kept Sunday ticket. 8 game mix channel is nice, thanks Direct TV.
Actually, I hope you kept Superfan -- for the 8-Game Mix HD and for the 'Short Cuts HD' you need to have Superfan. These features are not a part of the standard SundayTIcket.

For an extra 99.00 they need to add to what they had. I wonder how many would get The Super Fan if HD were a part of the Reg Sunday Ticket as it should be. We already pay 120.00 a year for HD and 60.00 more if you add the HD extra
What else will we be charged for. But then again it is still much cheaper than Comcrap...

I'm new here. But curious. Can we pick less games and the picture show more?can we even pick the games?
no you cannot. it is not an interactive channel, other than you can pick the audio of the game you want. as far as picking the games, there cannot be more than 8 games on at once, so theres no need to pick. all active games are on the mix.

Although that is true for most weeks, in weeks one and eight there are 9 games on at 1 PM ET. Also, with the flex schedule in effect after week 10, you could end up with more than 8 games at 1 PM ET as well, although in general along with picking a game to move to 8:15 PM ET they generally put a couple of the "scheduled as 1 PM ET" into the 4 PM ET slot.

It would be cool though if you could.Lets say I want to watch 3 games. And you can pick those 3 for one screen.that would be cool.Especially if you're paying another hundred for it.
