I am having this done tomorrow. When I called Dish, they said I owned the 811 so it will be on ebay next week. Cost was $199 - already charged to my AmEx with 100 rebate at $10/month over 10 months. Since the 811 should bring $150 or so, this should be a no-cost switch. I'll enjoy the added DVR as I have on my other TV.
I did call 3 or 4 time until I got to talk to someone that spoke english as a first language. I feel sorry for everyone concerned with call centers in this day and age but I don't speak or understand many of the service reps. I just read where Directv is opening a call center in Missoula Montana - You'll be able to understand those cowboys.
