I just installed the HR20 a couple of days ago and I have a question about the 90 minute buffer.

Does the buffer reset everytime the show changes?

Example: If I am been watching the same channel for a hour and and 2 shows have come on in the hour can I rewind and watch the show that was on before the one I am watching now or will it reset when the next show starts?

The buffer does not empty...
But the progress bar "will" change, to reflect the current show.

So it will "look" like the buffer emptied , but it really didn't.

Thanks for you help, I was a little worried.

FYI, I have had the HR20 for 3 days and I love it so far.

Earl,
But then is there any way to rewind back to the beginning of the 90 minutes or are you limited to the current current show. I've never actually tried this, so pardon my ignorance. The only time I've seen the buffer full was during a movie.
