What? Do you mean use a 942 receiver as a external USB hard disk? I would not expect that to work if you simply plug them together with a USB cable. You might be able to remove the hard drive from the 942 and put it into a USB external case.

Does anyone know if an owned 942 can be used as an external hard drive with a 722?
