If you could run the line yourself, then you would not need to pay the $99 installation fee for the receiver you lease at a retail store like Best Buy. If you can’t do it yourself, maybe you have a buddy that could help for the cost of a six-pack (consumed *after* the install, of course).
Yeah I have 2 regular TV's that I don't plan on upgrading soon so I need the $99 SD-DVR. I just wanted to know if it's legit that they charge $99 install which happens to be the same cost as the DVR box itself.
Thanks for the correction, Curt. I've only ever ordered "advanced" receivers. Then quoted $99 installation on a $199 HD-DVR
