A We never thought of that or a bug?

To clarify, I used a antenna to feed my 622 for a little while but was unhappy with the results as there was to much pixelation. This despite being aprox 3 miles away from the antenna. Then I remembered that when the house was sided there was foil faced foam applied under the siding and that may/could be why the inside antenna was not really reliable.

Antway removing locals from the 622 caused the previously recorded channels to show weird 4 & 5 digit channel numbers rather than 58-01 for example.

I'm wondering if that is a bug or just something they never expected and have not set up the 622 to handle?
It isn't bothering me now that I figured out that the recordings with weird channel numbers were from OTA. However until the light over my head lit up I was thinking about trying a reset and/or calling support.

Cheers

Local channels have 4 digit numbers. See if these "funny" numbers are the LIL #'s.

If you set it to map down your LIL will also show up as 58-0 etc. OTA's show up as 58-1,2,etc.

OTA that close probably are over strong signals or multipath. Try antenuators.
what was funny was that the channel numbers of the recordings changed after I removed the local channel. When it worked the picture was better but it wasn't consistent. Probably my fault for trying a cheapo indoor antenna below grade and not remembering the foil backed foam under the siding.

I do recall being able to tune NYC and Philadelphia channels with rabbit ears on a TV in the attic years ago. How many years? I was running a multiline BBS under Dos back then in the attic and kept a TV set up there for when I was doing backups.
