Directv's press release said ABC Family HD is suppose to come on 8/14. The only thing that is suppose to happen today is the MPEG2 to MPEG4 transition.
But it is on D11 in testing. P Smiths new table had FamHD listed. Looks like ABC Family HD to megoober22 said:Correct. The new HD channels don't come online until 8/14, per D*'s PR.
Yes, you are exactly right the channel is up for TESTING, but not available to us average users. You need an engineering card to see the test channel in the 9300s.jefbal99 said:But it is on D11 in testing. P Smiths new table had FamHD listed. Looks like ABC Family HD to me
Yep. Expect to see it as the PR stated - on 8/14! This stuff on 7/31 was just mpeg2->mpeg4 mirroring.D*HR-20 said:Yes, you are exactly right the channel is up for TESTING, but not available to us average users. You need an engineering card to see the test channel in the 9300s.
west coast HD has been off 119 for months and months. East coast just went dual lit and is now on 99 as welltheedger said:When I checked this morning I only had ABC Family 311 SD. Anyone getting the HD feed yet?
Also are west coast DNS HD's off of 119? I'm still not getting FOX HD (I'm authorized for it) but 119 is blocked so I get "searching for.."
I don't think that is true. 119 is obstructed at my location. I used to get FOX LA(still on my bill too) until it was moved to 119. Now all I get is '771 searching for satellite, the same error I get with everything on 119.curt8403 said:west coast HD has been off 119 for months and months. It was changed to Mpeg4, but it was left in the existing satellite tp location on a KU beamcurt8403 said:west coast HD has been off 119 for months and months. East coast just went dual lit and is now on 99 as well
