On the heels of last year's successful release of the critically acclaimed martial arts film "Iron Monkey," Starz Encore's Action channel has picked up the exclusive rights to "Iron Monkey 2."
The film will have its U.S. television premiere June 1 at 8 p.m. EST on the Action channel. The film re-teams "Iron Monkey" star Donnie Yen ("Blade II") with famed action sequence director Woo-Ping Yuen, known for choreographing such films as "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon," "The Matrix," the upcoming sequel "The Matrix Reloaded" and the upcoming Quentin Tarantino film "Kill Bill."
