Does anybody know if the Acutrac 22 Pro is compatible with the slimline? When I plug it into the dish with no other connections to the meter or the dish, I get a "High Current" message, and the meter shuts off. If I try it with the receiver connected to the meter, I get the same result.

I've lost my 103 signals (due to trees I think) and I have a 2nd slimline dish I was trying to hook up temporarily elsewhere to see if I can improve on the signal.

The "High Current" error usually means that you have a bad cable or connector that is shorting out. Inspect the cable ends to make sure you don't have any part of the braid coming in contact with the center pin. If you can't see any, try a different cable.

Cables are good. I check for shorts with a continuity meter, plus after I get the error on the new dish, I tried it on the existing dish using existing cables to the multiswitch and got the same result.

I have used my Acutrac 22 Pro with the Slimline hundreds of times, it is definatley compatible.

I also recommend changing out your F-Connectors and Couplers on the device in order to prevent a short. Does this same issue occur with a 3LNB or 1LNB dish? If it does not and checking connectors does not fix the issue, you should change out the LNB on your dish.

Either bad LNB, bad jumper wire or bad meter.

It sounds like that meter is bad.
