With all digital tv coming next Feb I would like to add one TV which presently we use with for watching the local news etc in the kitchen.
Is there a method off wirelessly connecting that TV ( which does receive the digital signal-I connected that TV to my DVR line after disconnecting my larger TV to my DVR line and got the same great picture.)
I have a second Directv line in a seperate building.
I know that if I connect (?) another TV that I would have to watch the same channel as would be showing on my larger TV. That would not be a problem.
I'm in my 13th year with Directv and I remember them selling a connecting device years ago but don't know if such a device still exists.
Any ideas for an old fart in NC.

There are wireless video transmitters that can be used for this. They take the composite outputs from a device (DVR) and then the receiver end is connected to the remote TV. However, they can be interfered with by other wireless devices such as cordless phones and microwave ovens too!

How far away is the other building?

Buckeye fan? In that case I'll help you...
I use this wireless AV sender. I too have a small tv in the kitchen that I did not want to drill holes for and did not want to pay for another Directv box. This version comes with the sender and receiver. I love it. Picture is great once you aim the antennae properly. I will also take the receiver in to the basement to watch Directv while on the treadmill. Have even taken outside to the garage to watch a race. Partner with the Directv RF remote and I can change channels too! It does have a infrared repeater, but this did not work properly. A little pricey, but the versatility made it worth it for me.

Hope this helps.

There are wireless television repeaters you can buy for your home. I tried one a couple of years ago, but the picture quality was terrible. I ended up running a cable from my DVR to the remote TV, which ended up being cheaper than the repeater.
