Can I add and drop the sports pack just for the day or will I be changed the full month?

I believe it is treated as a premium package and hence you need to keep it for a month.
It will definitely cost you a $10.00 fee for less than 30 days service. I miscounted my days, and cancelled after 27 days. The fee was quickly added the next day. I called up to reinstate it, and they dropped the fee. I still have Sports Pak until baseball season ends.
speaking of the sports pack, is nba hd included with sports pack?
The sports pack won't get you any pro sports that have their own package like sunday ticket, MLB extra innings or league pass.
He may be referring to the NBA, ch 601, which is included, in beautiful HD. My local NBA team is included.
Actually I get the Cardinals(MLB) games with sports pack without it I dont.
I actually did this for Brian Leetch's retirement ceremony with the Rangers last winter. I activated Sports Pack and then wanted to cancel the next day. The D* website would not allow me to saying I had just activated the service. I then called D* and the CSR removed Sports Pack for me no questions asked and no extra fees. It was pro-rated. Don't know if this is how its supposed to happen, but it worked for me. I probably wouldn't make a common occurence of doing this, however.

There are some situations where this can work. If you are still considered Local market for the team but your base package doesn't include the RSN that carries their games this would be the case. In general you can't get pro games with the sports pack.

You mean, in general you can't get more pro games with the sports pack than with the Choice package.

The Family package does not include your RSN, but you can add the Sports Pack to it and still come out ahead (if you don't mind missing ESPN/ESPN2/ESPNews).
Remember that you can *switch* premium channels without any additional cost. So, switch to Sports Pack to catch Saturday football games and then switch to HBO or whatever to catch movies you want.

you dont get ANY out of market pro games with the sports pack (except for those on nba tv)..thats why it is useless to me as, well as the premiere package (i dont watch movie channels either. ive had showtime for free for the last 6 months on time warner and havent watched 5 mins of it)
