yet, for most of us subs, we dont know which dish they have till we roll, sometimes a few hrs away from the warehouse. so yes i agree, but its not allways possable, anyone wanting to get rid of it, should call in for a dish upgrade, that way the tech will at least know to bring one, should be free as well.IIP said:The ONLY advantage of the butt-ugly AT9 dish is you are using 2 Cal-Amp dishes to get around a LOS problem.
AT9 dishes, with their flimsy sidecar LNB cables, are supposed to be replaced with AU9 dishes anytime they are encountered by a DirecTV tech. What does that tell you about AT9 dishes?
Slimline FTW.
LOL - The AT9's ARE the ugliest dishes I've ever seen. Whoever allowed this thing to be mass produced needs to have their head checked.IIP said:The ONLY advantage of the butt-ugly AT9 dish is you are using 2 Cal-Amp dishes to get around a LOS problem.

I find it very distinctive looking. I'm sure people driving by mine (pole-mounted at the end of my driveway) must realize what a high-tech kinda guy I am.aphex said:LOL - The AT9's ARE the ugliest dishes I've ever seen. Whoever allowed this thing to be mass produced needs to have their head checked.
