Amazing Race 13 Ep 1 (OAR 9/28/08)

Ok so has anyone picked any favs yet, or someone they hate? Personally i'm not sure who i'm rooting for yet, but I do find myself leaning towards the geeks (hmmm, wonder why that might be :lol: ). And I have a feeling that my least fav is going to be Terence and Sarah, not her fault mind you but his insecurities and whining could definitely get annoying real fast if he keeps it up. (Just some of his beef's from ep 1, she talked to other constestants instead of meeeee....., she spoke Portugese to the nativies and I couldn't tell what she was saying because she didn't translate for meeeee...., Hey you're running too fast and getting to far ahead of meeee.... :icon_cry: ). So yeah unless he shapes up real fast that team is on my short list of who I want to go home asap. Other than that I was sorta disappointed to see the old hippies go home first, but not surprised, I kinda hoped they'd stick around a few rounds anyway, seemed like they could've been interesting to have around.

I don't have any favorites at this point. I am rooting for the mother and son team, but that can change in the next couple of weeks.

I do find the former pro football player and his wife annoying. I got a chuckle when she made fun of him in the cab for not learning Spanish not realizing that they speak Portuguese.

The two 'geeks' are annoying as well...
Hopefully, having to climb the stairs twice knocked them down a peg or two.

Too bad the bee keepers left.. they were good comic relief. :lol:

No favorites for me yet, but I'm sure someone will be portrayed as truly annoying soon--yes, Terrence may be among them, but he just seems so silly and whiny, not really annoying--yet.

I'm rooting for the geeks at this point, just because they're geeks. And I like the brother-sister team so far. Agree that Terrence is far and above the one I find most annoying after the first ep.

I think you mean the frat boys. They are annoying, and I don't see them staying around to long.

The hippies were my favorites, and I didn't think they'd be around long, but leaving on the first episode was sad.

Don't know who I'm rooting for right now, except for the geeks!

I'm rooting against the geeks at this point, just because they're geeks.

Thought the football players (ken) wife (tina) was a bit annoying.

So far, I'm leaning towards liking Kelly&Christy, Nick&Starr,and Toni&Dallas

Terence and Sarah are super annoying. I think they have a chance to rank up there as the crappiest teams ever and he may one day displace a certain person in the annals of meanest a-holes ever to play Amazing Race. Did he really yell at here for going a little faster than him at one point?

Yeah apparantly she runs too fast, is too good and talking Portugese and is too good at making friends with the other teams. All things you'd think would be advantages in the race, but I guess she's not supposed to do any of those things because it makes him feel inferior or something?

The thing that killed me is when he mentioned that she was insecure or something because she felt the "need to make friends" and he didn't?! Ummmm hello.....well I guess if anyone should be good at noticing insecurities it ought to be him, now if someone would just have him look in a mirror......:lol:

If she was like this all the time, I can see why he cheated. And before I get letters, my wife mentioned to me first. I thought it, but knew better than to say it.

That guy is a Dbag. When all the teams were together an he was sitting in the corner complaining that she wasn't with him cuddling, WOW!. Talk about needy.

No Fav's just yet but give it another show or two and I will have my definite opinion on who I do not want to win. The only couple I have ever disliked from day 1 was Rob and Amber. There is just something about Rob that makes you want to dislike him.
