Now I am receiving 771 on my HR20 AND my non-DVR HD receivers.

Did a restart on both, no help. Called D* and they're sending a tech out next Monday. HUH?! Doesn't the fact that it only effects my LOCAL HD channels on BOTH receivers indicate that it's not a hardware issue? Every other channel on both receivers is fine.

We are here in Albuquerque and have lost our OTA HD signals in the past two days. We don't know whether the local transmitters are down for some reason (tough to imagine today when we'd love those football games), the heavy snow somehow messed up our antenna or cable connections...........

We have also rebooted the machine twice and checked the cables in the back of the HR20. Right now we're crossing our fingers that perhaps when we thaw out the signal may be restored (imagining some sort of water in the connector scenario) :(

It might be your system. I had a bit of snow on my LNB5 dish, but the OTA antenna was fine. Since we were snowed in with no Netflix movies, we (my guests) watched alot of Directv & OTA without dropouts.

Thanks for the local reply :) I guess we'll wait for the thaw to see if it is a connector issue then call D* if we can't find a system connection solution.

Are you getting that on all the local HD channels? I just went through all of them, and no problems.

Yep... The analog (term?) channels are all OK, but I lost the HD channels last night.

All other HD channels are fine.

If over the Sat perhaps the DirecTV uplink center in Denver for the locals went down due to the storms. OTA would still be working for each individual station via antenna. Might want to check your HD locals thread on AVS for reports of issues due to the storms. It should be the first place to check to see if it's a problem with an OTA transmitter or on the DirecTV side of things. Those guys will know. :)

Couple weeks ago our CBS went out for a few hours. People were complaining to DirecTV when in fact the local OTA transmitter was out. Since DirecTV gets their feed OTA as well, if the OTA is out, then the DirecTV feed will be out as well.

And note that the digital (HD) transmitters are different from the analog so one could be down and not the other.

Thanks Scott! I will check it out now, but someone about 10 miles from me has all of their's... :(
That's sad to hear as it might be your equipment. Could be some moisture has seeped into your lines or something. If you're talking sat then make sure you have good signal strength on 99 or 103 transponders that carry your locals. If you don't then that's your problem.
