Hello,

I have had the HR20 and the big dish for over a month now.
Things have worked as best as possible until last Friday.
I live in the Chicago land area and a big storm blew through.
I lost all HD channels, both local and other HD like HD-Net.
I still had SD so I thought the winds blew the dish out of alignment.

Service came out and tested the dish and wires.
The service guy said that the LNB's failed and he would have to return to install a new dish.
Today I got the new SlimLine and all works well again.
He left the dish and LNB's and the Andrew Logo was on both.

I remember reading before that an Andrew dish or LNB failed.
At first I thought that old note was an isolated event, but now mine failed.

Has anyone else had problems with Andrew?

I had the same issue this week. We had some freezing rain and some Ice and then when it thawed, I lost my hd channels and then I lost everyother transponed on the 101 sat.

Sure enough the LNBs had got some moisture in them and caused a short on the connections.

They did not replace my whole dish just the lnb module. Everything came right back. Maybe I should have asked for the slimline.
