So recently my Joey's have started prompting me that a program is about to record. It asks whether I should let it or not. It does this despite the fact that other tuners are available. I assume the Hopper does this too but don't watch TV off of it as much so haven't confirmed this yet. Why doesn't the system just use a free tuner? I end up having to accept it doing it's recording, wait for it to switch channels, and then switch back to what I had been watching previously. Anyone else notice this?

I notice the Joeys are not very judicious about tuner selection. If I have a Hopper recording a show or tuned to a channel and I try to watch either of them with a Joey it will use an unused tuner. I use the red button to select the active tuner and that works OK. Also, when watching during PTAT hours, if I tune to a PTAT channel the H/J will use a tuner for the channel. Again, using the red button and selecting the PTAT channel will release the redundant tuner.

That has been a gripe of mine since day 1.
