Another Day, Another Black Screen, Another Reset

Woke up to another black screen this morning. Doing another reset again (sigh). Calling DTV to complain again. Surely, their solution will be to format the machine (again). This is getting old...

Why does the black screen bug always happen overnight?

Have you tried the options (including unplug to kill the gremlins and setting to and MPEG4 channel before leaving for the night) offered in other threads here?
