My daughter is getting Directv installed in her house. She has one tv in the den, one in a bedroom and one in the guest bedroom.
Right now she wants the $29.95 house special, but might upgrade later.
My question is, with all of the new products with different acronyms, what equipment will the installer install? The house does not have any existing cable.

They will most likely install a SWM system with an SL3 LNB.
