Another Sunday with no Mets on MLBEI

This is really getting old, Mets on CW11 because its Sunday and also OTA for the stros on my20. They have the feed from my20 on the FSN Houston feed for people outside the dma but its blacked out for people not in Texas I guess. Why is it so damn hard to get a Sunday Mets game on extra innings, I cant even find a local sports bar that has the game. this suckssssssss

It just sucks that the only way to get the games is on a computer, it was the same thing earlier this year when they were up against all the fox sat games and I couldn't see them. I bought the package from d so i could get them all in hd and its turning out to not be as good as I had hoped. This is at least the 15th game i've missed this year.

Yep.
Though when I think back to the days before EI, 140 games on TV would have seemed like heaven.

Even growing up in NY, there were lots of games I had to listen to on the radio (pre-cable).

Still, with the game available on FSN, it should be on EI.

yeah that is true, I have XM in the car but I'm not gonna drive around all afternoon just to listen to the game. I mean don't get me wrong extra innings this year has been great, I'm just disappointed in the mets coverage. I think the only team that has had less games on EI is the rays

What is frustrating, besides the Mets recent play, is that the game can be found on cable's MLB EI package. This according to the Indemand website. If this is true, there must be some kind of contractual arrangement between DirecTV and MLB which does not allow them to broadcast CW11 outside the New York DMA.

this is total BFS....i paid for EI for rest of season, i live in ohio. there is absolutely no way the FSN houston feed should NOT be on EI...and theres no way it should be blacked out for me...this is total crap...i should be able to see the mets and astros.

hes not whinning (sic), hes saying that he pays for EI, so he should get ALL the games that arent blacked out for his area...and astros mets should be available to him..and me.

I get why the Mets are usually unavailable on Sundays (and Saturdays) as WPIX has the games on Sunday.

This game SHOULD have been available, as FSN Houston had it. These games are normally, almost always, available. What gives here???
