Nice deal. People with Calvary enclosures, buy one now so when yours dies you will be ready.

I wonder what the best 1 gig deal is now. I am tempted to buy that for my downstairs machine and move the 750 there to the upstairs one.

They must have just gone on sale because they were $50 on Monday.

It looks like this may be online only. I stopped in my local Fry's on the way home tonight and they wouldn't honor the online price.

For cheap 1T drive, Microcenter has the Western Digital Green Power 1T drive for 179.99.

Fry's had the same drive onsale this past weekend for 159, but unfortunately, that sale ended on the 12th.

OK, I must have had a loser in the computer department when I went in the store, because when I just ordered it online, I had the option of in-store pickup.

Stupid lazy sales people.

Some items are ONLINE ONLY, and I guess this appears to be the case with this unit.

I ORDERED ONE, for my failing Cavalry. I hope it works! It was just under $40 to ship to my home.

Now, getting the Cavalry people to install it for me, so I don't void the warranty...

Too bad the browser on my blackberry is so bad. I could have ordered it from my phone, kicked back in thier cafe and then picked it up when goober from the computer department brought it up front.

Instead, I had to drive home, order online and then pick it up at the store when I drove into work this morning.

Good inventory planning - now it shows on the website as sold out...:nono2:

Unless they're going to stop carrying it - then it was a great way to unload remaining inventory in a flash.

Huh. I've been in the Sacramento CA store a bunch of times looking for something that I'd seen on the web site. When they find it for me its usually more expensive. All I do is say "this is cheaper on your web site". Dude runs over to a computer and pulls the site up, checks the price and prints out a receipt for the lower price. I take that to the counter and they call that receipt up and charge me the web price.
