However, I feel obligated to ask any attorneys on this board if there is grounds for a class action lawsuit against D* over the HR20.
The unit is advertised as a Digital Video Recorder. It is failing to perform what it advertises (partial/deleted shows). Additionally, it is locking up frequently for many people.
I want D* to fix this. I don't want money, I don't want free showtime for 6 months (which I was just offered and refused). I just want the thing to record as advertised. If it will take legal action to get it done, so be it.
