buy.com has a 1TB Fantom GreenDrive eSATA drive (GD1000EU) for $129 after rebate. Does anyone know if this is compatable with the HR21 or if it's any good?

Newegg has the same drive for $99 after rebate.....Not sure if it works...love to hear some responces before I buy it

Well, I'm assuming that no one's tried this one yet based on the lack of responses. The price of this is so cheap that I'm just going to buy one and try it out. If it doesn't work in the DVR I'll just use it in my file server.

Will add a post with my results once I give it a try.

Bought this drive and hooked it up to my HR21. After a weekend of recording and watching it worked fine. It even passed my wife's quiet test. So, after some breif use of this drive it seems to be a reasonable choice, especially given the low price.
