I was thinking about buying the new remote with the buttons that light up. Anyone have one and is it worth the money. I have a hell of a time at night
trying to see the buttons.

Ditto....unless you need to control your home theater setup, in which case the Harmony remotes are very, very good for not a lot of money.Earl Bonovich said:I have the RC32RF (see the general forum for a review and pictures of them).
I love it upstairs in my Master bedroom.
Does it have a user replaceable battery pack, and if so, what does it cost. I don't want to pour 150 bucks into a remote that is useless when its Li-Ion pack goes bad (and it will).bc2021 said:Harmony 880. Best I've ever seen. More importantly, my wife loves it, my mother in law loves......you get the idea. I have numerous different devices and it works them all out effortlessly. I bought mine through an online deal at jr music for about $150.
I ordered the above remote and followed the manual exactly, and couldn't get it even programmed to work for the HD-DVR. Called D* and the CSR tried to help me, even doing a red button reset a couple of times. They finally told me they would send me a new remote.monick2 said:I have three of them, they are great.![]()
The Harmony 880 does have a user-replaceable battery pack. Probably a little late but Dealnews had a a deal earlier in the week through Dell where the 880 was under $120 shipped.hasan said:Does it have a user replaceable battery pack, and if so, what does it cost.
