Pardon the Interruption on ESPN for you non sports fans..

Recently during commercial breaks, they cut back to the show them just sitting there chatting. Is this a DTV thing only? Is this done on purpose?? Is this a screw up? Is it done to throw us off our FF game? To clarify, it's Tony and Willybuns just hanging out waiting for the commercial to get over. So it's PTI, Commercial, 2 seconds of them bsing, back to commercial back to show..

I don't know about this, but for a long time DirecTV had their commercials overrunning SportsCenter all the time. It was very annoying, but they seem to have fixed it.

It's not Directv. I have Directv at home and Comcast at my apartment where I work and it happens on both. I suspect it is an attempt to get those of us who record the program not to skip through the commercials.

Which would be ironic since Wilbon is always yelling at Tony to get DTV and a DVR...

Yes, it is a recent feature of the show. I watch every episode and I would say it started about 2-3 weeks ago.

Yeah, they show a few seconds of behind the scenes every commercial break now. I'm pretty sure it isn't just DirectTV, but done by PTI.

I saw this too the other day. PTI is one of the few shows we watch live while wer are cooking or eating dinner, so it did not reallyhave any effect on me.
