I have just been the reading about the Prioritizer issue discussed in the HR20-100/HR20-700: 0x0254 - Issues Only thread (http://www.dbstalk.com/showthread.php?t=133239).

I have encountered the same issues on my HR20-700 that has 0x0254 installed.

My question: Do we think this issue is only related to HR20-700s that have eSata external drives connected?

I had a Seagate Freeagent Pro 1Tb external drive connected and the Prioritizer issue just started occurring in the last week. The Prioritizer issue I am referring to was raised by kcmurphy88 on 07-16-08, 09:13 PM in the thread referenced above (http://www.dbstalk.com/showthread.php?t=133239).

I disconnected the eSata drive yesterday morning and the Prioritizer error does not seem to be occurring (although only 24 hours have passed).

Other than that, the Seagate FAP 1Tb has been working well for approximately 1 month.

It is doubtful an eSATA device would be causing this. More likely there is another cause and that issue is possible with either an internal or an eSATA drive.
