Actually the first ever MLB game I went to was a A's game way back in 1972. You know what what they say about the first one.
But I agree, Scioscia should be AL Manager of the year. The Angels looked like they were sleepwalking at the beginning of the year, and i thought Scioscia might be the next manager to be fired. But he got them straightened out.
