AU9S windload spec

Anyone know what the windload spec is on the AU9 slimline?

dunno buddy, good question, but mine went through hurricane Dolly with no sweat..
To get wind load specs. you would need a engineer to come out and do specs on how it's mounted. He need to know how high off the dish is off the ground.

While not specific to the AU9, you could get a rough idea using the DIU configuration.

Ignore the com port warning at startup.

Go to Utils -> Ballast

That will open up the ballast app from Hughes. Everything from there is pretty straight forward.

wind tunnel tested to 120 mph thats what D* ops mgr told us techs here is la yesterday he was getting feedback on how the slimlines held up in the hurricane and was taking down suggestions for improvements.

A nice program, If your putting a non-pen mount on a roof. And need to know how much ballast you needed . But it won't tell you wind load spec on a AU9.
