Local channels should be the last ones affected by weather. Is the video perfect when the audio drops out?
Audio Issues - local channels? Weather?
I'm getting audio drop offs, several seconds at a time, on local channels, both HD and SD.
We're experiencing the first storm of the season here in the Bay Area, and I'm wondering if this could be causing it.
I never had weather related problems with the previous disch, but CS is telling me that the new dish more sensitive. Is this true? Is anyone else in the Bay Area experiencing this as a new issue?

And it happens on all local channels, HD and SD, but only locals?
I have had the same issue with MPEG4 locals.
No weather issues, no video issues, just an occasional audio loss.
I can't remember if it was live or recorded though, which could point to the culprit.
