Audio Loss

I am having trouble with audio loss. I am in Houston and on all of my HD Local channels I experience a loss of audio. The video will be fine but the audio will just drop out for about 6 seconds or so. I am on my second HR-20 and the issue still happens. I have tried both HDMI and standard component with stereo cables. I am not using a special receiver I am just using my tv speakers. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,

I am experiencing the same issues intermittantly. Both on recorded and live HD. I am changing the channel or pausing and replaying and that typically fixes the problem.

My audio is not through the HDMI but run through the optical cable to my recv. (onkyo)

I also expierience the lost audio on recorded and live tv.

Earl, Any knowledge of a fix for this in the next update? Its happened to me several times. Most recently during Heroes, right at a point where a guy shushe's someone else like he has something important to say, it crackles then goes out.

Had it go out a few weeks ago on a recording of My Name is Earl.

I have the same audio loss too. I hear static and then the sound drops out for 6 of 7 seconds. Occurs on both live and recorded. In addition, sometimes after the sound goes out I get a blue screen during the 6 or 7 second sound drop out before picture and sounds returns.
Samsung TV using HDMI.

I am experiencing audio drop out as well on recorded shows. However, no blue screen issues. Using optical/component cables to Yamaha receiver.
