I am experiencing some of these issues but my main audio issue is when CBS (channel 3) broadcasts in HD and in dolby digital. The dolby digital cuts in and out. The only solution is to switch the DD in the HR20 audio options to off. I have contacted Directv and they contend it is a broadcast issue with CBS they are trying to work out. Any one else having this exact issue?

This is straight from the satellite feed, not the OTA, where I am experiencing the DD cutout. Any one else?

So do you think this will be fixed with the next software update?

I have my resolution set to 1080 all the time, so that probably wouldn't help but thanks for the info anyway.

So when Directv is telling me that it is a broadcast issue from channell 3, is true? They also said they are working with them to resolve.

I'll call on Monday.....probably won't do any good but it can't hurt either.

Anybody know when channel 8 (NBC) is going to be coverted?

I know of some people that receive the channel 3 OTA just fine with zero problems. Unfortunately I am not one of them. But, my point is this, if Directv is receiving their signal from either a poor vantage point or just a poor quality receiver (antenna), wouldn't it stand to reason to either re-position their stuff or get better quality receiving equipment to receive the better signal, as some folks do, so as to not have any issues when sending it through the satellite feed?
