i have the 622 connected via hdmi cable (monoprice) to my 46" Samsung LCD. while getting ready to watch some college football on Saturday, i noticed a slight, variable "high-pitched" whistle that lasted a few minutes. never did hear it the rest of the day, though. on Sunday, while watching the tv, it happened again late in the day. same thing, didn't last but a few minutes.

now, this am, i noticed a deep (or low) "humming" sound. this actually lasted quite awhile (about 1/2 hour). appears to have disappeared for now.

i really don't know much about electronics, so, wondered if anyone has any thoughts?

While hearing these sounds did you try changing to a different channel? It could be part of the broadcast. If it was a recorded program, is the sound always present in the recording and always at the same spots? The source material is often at fault instead of the receiver.
