My Hopper suddenly stopped transmitting audio. Video works normally.
I had to schedule an appointment, and get this: the earliest tech visit slot is four weeks from now! Not acceptable.
Any advice before I endure a ridiculously long wait for a technician?
- I tried multiple channels and DVR recordings.
- The TV (a Vizio purchased in May) plays audio normally from a gaming device.
- I have reset the Hopper from the Tools page and updated the software.
- I have tried the Hopper with the known working HDMI cable used with the gaming device, in a known working input on the TV.
- Our Joey works fine on another TV.
