With August half over already (hard to believe), is there any more specific details that can be given as to when they expect the August HD-LiLs to go live? Namely, Rochester, NY? Just wondering if I should bother troubleshooting/fixing my TWC input into the TV to fix my low signal on my HD-QAM signals, or if its not going to happen til August 30th...

Super much appreciated...Rochester in the house!

Is it mainly just a matter of manpower at D* configuring these markets to go live or is there still paperwork and technical stuff on the local side that needs to be done?

I would assume that with the rollout schedule announced, these deals have pretty much been signed and delivered. No?

Of course I am out of town all next week so I am sure Rochester will go live then :)

For Rochester....before the Olympic games have concluded. At least that's the schedule. :D

With the knowledge that I may get no response. What part of September is the Mobile/Pensacola market set for.

Yes, I will accept the disclaimer that all dates and content are subject to change!

Many thanks Satracer - I figured you might have a better idea, and I understand that things don't always go to plan, so I won't hold you to it. Appreciate the info. I suppose I can tolerate SD for a week (hopefully a "week" will be a day-lol) and save myself the headache of troubleshooting my QAM signal. ;)

I'm sure they all vary across the country. I have experience with one instance where I took a short trip (w/my HR20)and was able to pick up my locals over 200 miles away, and yes the signal was low, but the weather was good:)

Little Rock DMA is on the list for October, but two nights ago, 5 transponders popped up on 99s, I'm assuming two for us, and three for Ft Smith/Fayetteville Ark. Two are 100%, three are 95%. Don't know why they would fire them up now, if they were going to wait until October to turn them on.

Satelliteracer said yesterday that we can expect them within the next nine days. He said as far as days "it is down to single digits" until they are lit up. So next friday at the latest. I'm hoping by monday at the latest.

What about Watertown, NY (zip code 13601)? I was told my the guy at our local station that DirecTV spoke with them about adding locals on DirecTV! I laughed at the guy like he was joking but he was dead serious.

Do you know ahead of time what locals will be turned up? Here in Baton Rouge I can get the NBC, ABC, FOX and CBS OTA but the CW does not have an OTA antenna but they do show HD through the Cox cable here.

I am really hoping to have CW HD through DTV when they launch them.
