"authorized contect"?

Greetings

I'm sure the solution is somewhere on the forum but doing a search did not come up with anything.

I recorded from the UHD channel 74"Star Trek:First Contact"..and "Star TrekIII: Search For Spock. Both recordings show on the playlist but when I choose to watch either, I get "searching for content" on the lower right hand portion of the screen. This messages shows for about a minute then changes to the "do you wish to delete" message. No movie...no nothing for either movie.

What could have possibly happened? I have the 0X235 software on a Hr-21-100. Any suggestions??

Have you previously received UHD? Do you subscribe to the "HD Extra Package"?
If you do not subscribe to the DIRECTV HD Extra Pack you will not be able to view or record from UHD.
If you do subscribe to UHD, this means that there was an authorization problem during the time that you recorded that, and you'll need to call DirecTV so they can have someone take a look at it before it happens again. Unfortunately there is no way to 'fix' it. That recording is unretrievable
Thanks....and no I didn't have UHD part of my plan. So why would DVR schedule something that is not part of my package?...hmm???

Thanks for the replies guys!!

It'll let you attempt to record it, even if you havent purchased it yet.
Like, PPVs. It'll record the PPV, and let you purchase it when you're ready to view it.
SO there's still hope to watch these movies???? I just upgraded to included DVR HD PLUS

Unless you have the HD Extras Pack ($4.99 per month) you won't get those channels.

No. Only if it was a PPV. Im sorry, I guess my second post made my first post confusing.

If you're getting Searching for Authorized content, there is nothing you, or DirecTV, can do, to get those movies on your reciever.
