Autohop -> occasionally NO.

It is not available if show is recording and does not become available until about 1 am. It does not work on news, sports and some locally produced programs. Are you having issues with any program outside of these examples?

Recently it has become available before 1am ... within an hour of the end of the show in some cases. I would not expect it before 1am but one can always check.

As noted, local shows won't autohop and live sports won't autohop (and anything else that isn't part of the big four prime time programming).

I have noticed the occasional break is missing the hop ... but that is rare.

I believe that the original poster was referring to cases where a show is set for autohop showing but not another. An example of this for me is "Castle" was not autohopable on 10/1 but it was the week before. The same is true for "Revolution".

There are days when when some or all of the programs do not get the kangaroo.

I found the same thing this week for "The Amazing Race". On Monday, all the Sunday shows had the hopper icon except TAR. TAR wasn't delayed by sports or anything liek that. Shows AFTER TAR had the icon as well.

The only thing I can think of is that we DID start watching TAR on Sunday night while it was still recording (we started watching after about 30 minutes had been recorded).

For what it is worth. "The Amazing Race" did not have the Hopper icon on my receiver either. I thought maybe these had something to do with having "save series" set. But other programs have not been hopped up.

That is what I was seeing. But, I didn't know about the delay until 1, or that currently recording shows didn't have it available. So, I may have thought it was worse that it is. But I definitelyi have seen some that do not have it that don't fit in those two categories.

I'll pay closer attention to those guidelines, and see what I find.
