A month ago, when I upgraded to an HR-21 from a Tivo unit, I had a bad BBC right out of the box. I called on a Wed. afternoon to have the box activated and talk to tech support about replacement BBC and it was delivered that Saturday via Fedex.
I do have the Protection Plan however, so I don't know if they are shipped the same way if you don't have it. Do you have the PP?
