BBC turn around time?

A month ago, when I upgraded to an HR-21 from a Tivo unit, I had a bad BBC right out of the box. I called on a Wed. afternoon to have the box activated and talk to tech support about replacement BBC and it was delivered that Saturday via Fedex.

I do have the Protection Plan however, so I don't know if they are shipped the same way if you don't have it. Do you have the PP?

Did you order from the website link that has been posted here? Someone posted, just a few days ago, that the link no longer actually generated an order and that you now have to order BBCs by phone.

Just called, no order on my account, so the rep said he would get them out asap.
Thanks for the info, btw I do have the protection plan.

An email will also work. I tried ordering twice using the web order form with no luck. Sent an email to customer support and got a message back within 24 hours that they were on the way. Website confirms the order and they are coming via Fedex home delivery.

Ordered yesterday morning, checked online account last night, Fedex tracking says I will have them today, overnight turnaround, not bad. I'm on a D* positive roll after some issues getting an upgrade to a new HD receiver. Finally got the HR21 upgrade for no cost, they waived my NFL superfan fee, now a quick turnaround on the BBC.
I'm happy again!

Heh, had the same thing happen. Got a new HR21 for $99 to replace my HR10 (which I "replaced" once for free for another HR21), it was drop-shipped to me, got around to installing it today and figured out it's missing the BBCs #@^%$! So they're sending me them, hopefully it won't take long.

guessing 3 to 6 days (week days, do not count sat or sun)

They ship practically everything by FedEx 2nd day air.

An agent told me that it can take up to 5 business days before the bbc's are even shipped, you may want to call D* and get a tracking number
