Or call D*. The website said that my HR-24 was going to cost $199. I called, said I wanted another DVR and whole home, got it all for free. No negotiation needed.

There are Owned HR24-500s on EBAY for Sale but you must make sure they are Owned by getting the RID # of the HR24-500 and then call Directv's Access Card Dept. to make sure it is indeed Owned.
