I remember K-Mart use to change a product model number so it was harder to comparison shop, That might be what they are doing with a HR22. it would also explain a HR21-600

if the specifications are accurate it looks like it has a bigger HD. It says 100 hours of HD which would mean probably a 500gb hd.

If I recall from what I read earlier, an HR22 is like an HR21 but does not need BBCs.

no i believe that was an HR23. everyone assumed they were skipping the HR22 due to having the R22

that was assumed since the H23 has built in BBCs.

Definitely a larger hard drive than the HR21.

Up to 400 hours standard-definition; up to 100 hours HD programming

HR21:

Up to 200 hours standard-definition; up to 50 hours HD programming

A 500 GB drive would provide about 100 hours of MPEG4 HD recording. If it's a 750, they may be holding back more reserved space for pushed VOD.
