Billing Credit Dilemna: Truth or Silence?

955 Views 7 Replies 8 Participants Last post by  dcowboy7
Last month, I called D* and when I mentioned I was thinking about cancelling ST, they offered me SF free.
This month on my bill I see the following in the Current Charges section:

08/05 05/04 NFL SUNDAY TICKET SuperFan Special Free Offer 0.00

Then in the Adjustments / Credits section, this appears:

08/05 05/04 NFL SUNDAY TICKET SuperFan Billing Adjustment -16.50 Credit

So, do I take the money and run?
Or alert them to the billing error?

I would just take the money only because I would be afraid that they would mess something up trying to fix it.

Make your decision in 2 months, sometimes it takes that long for your account to reflect your actual programming.
Did you ever get billed for a month? I was billed for a month and they have credited me the month and then given me SF for free.

That's what it looks like to me, too. Check your statement from the previous month to see if you had already paid a monthly installment for SuperFan...
I would wait for a couple of months and then check your account to make sure it was still and over credit. If it was...I would call and tell them. You have to do what you think is right though.
You already know what the right thing to do is. I would do as suggested above, though, and wait a billing cycle or two and see if it's still there.

"You must do what you feel is right, of course".
