2 times now my HR20 has stoped working stating it can not find signal on one of the sat inputs apon a reboot it will never find signal again. but IF i take out the b band converters it works is this common that these go bad?

I guess you'd call D* and they'd send a tech out with some. I had to do this when they brought my HR20. Installers never hooked 'em up and took them with when they left. I called D* and the next day a tech came out with 2 more.

Yes. Very simple. They have two coax connections on them. Connect one end to the coax from the dish. Connect the other to the input on the back of the receiver. It even tells you which end goes where.

After a full-box freeze-up (nothing worked), took mine off and also tossed them into a drawer. No freezes since, just some minor issues, mainly the FF freezing a few times and losing a recording, at this point.

Yea:confused: Tried to get D* to just send me a couple but they wouldn't do it. Tech who came out was pretty happy tho. Had nothing to do and charged D* for a service call. I guess maybe D* thought I was trying to cheat them out of a couple.
