I'm getting a blackout message on The MLB Network channel for the giants game that started at 8pm. I thought that the blackout was for RSC and not a "network" channel. Is this right?

Edit: read on MLB Network website that the game is subject to local blackouts.

I know this is late and not helpful in this situation. But the game should have been available to you on your RSC, 696, or a local channel.

I looked. Sharks were on 696 and didn't see anything on the local channels.

I don't believe that game was live at 8pm, so it may have been live on your regional.

Giants were on KNTVU 11 yesterday. I think it was a 4PM start.

MLB Network does blackout spring training games, even spring training games that are not shown live.

I, guess you don,t live in Phila. area where Comcast rules like a third world leader.Thought same thing for spring games but, every time the Phillies are 99% blacked out on MLB network .It might as well be in season and be 100% with the way they treat us fans even with pre season games.The best us Phillies fans get in season is occasional live look in on MLB network I,m surprise that Comcast doesn,t try to have this blacked out as well to area fans.

We were also blacked out of the game here in Reds territory -- even though the game was NOT available regionally. :nono2:
