Hey all... Hope you guys are all doing well.

I have a Boolean search setup as follows:

"TTITLE BIG BANG THEORY". Which was working fine until last week. I noticed that my receiver wasn't recording new ones. Upon checking the TO-DO list, it only has one episode set to schedule in the next two weeks!!! When doing a normal title search for "The Big Bang Theory" there are clearly lots of episodes (on channels that I subscribe to) that are coming up.

I did a search and didn't see where anyone else reported this problem. Is anyone else experiencing problems with Boolean searched shows recording?

I have about 30 Boolean searches and they all seem to be working fine...Did you recently redo it, because personally that isnt how I would have written it. And I think the documentation for boolean searches might have you write it more this way:

AALL BIG BANG THEORY TTITLE

Try that and see what the search returns, it may give you better results.

I usually stick to the format of:

{AANY AALL}keywords TTITLE CCHANxxx

Obviously leaving off the cchan modifier if I'm not trying to get just one channel.

It was recording first run and repeats before, but I did my due diligence and verified that it was selected for BOTH.

I tried the recommendation of CCarncross and it didn't immediately populate anything. I am going to give it another hour or so and if it doesn't work, I will try to reboot.

I would code it as AALL TTITLE BIG BANG THEORY

I just pulled up 2 Episodes on Channel 17 with my Boolean Search Argument

If you are looking for it to populate the to-do list, don't bother....they don't always show up in the to-do list but they do record. I'm more interested to see you create the boolean search, then use the red button(keyword search) to actually perform it to gauge the results....if it pulls up lots of listings then its working fine. The to-do list does not immediately populate, sometimes it never shows up but still records just fine.

So let me give you a little more information. I get the same results for my keyword searches when I do the following searches:

AALL TTITLE BIG BANG THEORY
AALL BIG BANG THEORY TTITLE
TTITLE BIG BANG THEORY

The results I get under upcoming programs are:

"The Big Bang Theory"
"My Wife and Kids"

It is on this screen that I would normally hit Autorecord, but just to make sure that it sees episodes of BBT I go under upcoming programs and select "The Big Bang Theory". It then shows a bunch of upcoming episodes on different channels (mainly TBS and a local station).

I go back a screen, hit Auto Record, and it shows on my prioritizer with only the number one in parenthesis. As you know, the number in parenthesis should indicate the number of episodes that it sees to record.

I probably have recorded them before, but not in the past 30 days. BUT if your theory was correct, they should show up in my history and indicate that they weren't recorded because they were recorded in the last 30 days. There are no such errors in my history.

I am not necessarily looking for it to populate the TO-DO list, but I am looking for it to have a number in parenthesis on the prioritizer screen and it doesn't. Even if that was wrong too, I can tell you that the show hasn't been recording, and that is why I am here. :)

I have tried rebooting the receiver and reloading the code, but no joy so far.

big bang theory TTITLE will only match a title where all three of those words appear in that exact order, and requires the least typing.

AALL big bang theory TTITLE will find a title with all three words, but not necessarily in that order. So it could also find a show titled "The Theory Of A Big Bang", if such a show existed.

AANY big bang theory TTITLE will find a title with any one of those three words, like "Bang A Drum", "Conspiracy Theory", or "Big Deal".
