Broadband not connecting now 622

I've reset everything, cold boot, router etc. It does get an IP assigned by router but will not "connect" and now I get the damn connect or pay message all the time, the ethernet light on the back lights too. this happend coincident with 5.12 update. Any thoughts? I am very tech savvy but this is dumbfounding

When you go to "diagnostics" and "test connection" does it show
"Broadband OK"?
Yes it does but when I go to "On-demand" it says I need to connect to broadband and I also get that damn annoying connect or pay message...I think 5.12 did it because it worked perfectly before, it seems to be a software issue as even the ethernet light illuminates
Did you change anything recently in your DSL router? Sounds like you have connectivity but no connection to the servers that provide the DishOnline stuff. Can you get any lists to come up on your DishOnline or is all of them broken.
I had the same problem it didnt work and yesterday it all of a sudden starting working.
No changes at all to Router , I did reset both the modem and router and 622 no avail...I'll check when I get back Sunday maybe it fixed itself

It has magically fixed itself
Not sure if it's related or not but for about a month now, since the last software update I have been randomly getting the message that I will be charged if I don't have a phoneline hooked up or a broadband connection.
Every time it shows up I check and I have broadband connection and can surf all the new movies and shows.

Maybe a glitch in the software?
